Loveland’s new OCR Loveland Surgery & Recovery Center is bringing more than 60 new jobs to Northern Colorado. The $22 million ambulatory surgery and recovery center will triple the existing Loveland footprint campus with a 2-story, 63,884 square foot expansion set to open spring of 2019.
Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies (OCR) will manage and operate the center in a joint venture with the UCHealth system. All staff will be employed by OCR.
“Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies is seeking to hire a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals for our new Loveland center,” said Mike Bergerson, Chief Executive Officer at Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies.
Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies offers highly competitive benefits to all employees including dental, vision, paid time off, holiday pay, life insurance, 401K and up to 15% of wages in a profit sharing contribution. The new center is currently hiring for Pre-Op/PACU RNs, Operating Room RNs, Recovery Center RNs, Surgical Techs, and other positions. To apply, visit https://www.orthohealth.com/careers/.
“This will be our second surgery and recovery center in Northern Colorado. Patients will receive high-quality care, lower costs and an overall higher level of patient satisfaction,” said Dr. Rocci Trumper, President of Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies’ Board of Directors. “Just as with our Fort Collins Surgery & Recovery Center, the new Loveland facility will not only be equipped for same day surgeries but also major operations such as hip, knee, and shoulder replacements and larger spine cases that require overnight stays in the attached Recovery Center.“
The surgery center will have eight operating rooms, reception area, offices and pre- and post-operative rooms on the main floor. The second floor will be home to the Recovery Center with 21 rooms for those patients needing to stay 1 or more nights after surgery. Six operating rooms and 10 recovery rooms will be operational when the facility opens.
“The demand for the OCR Loveland Surgery and Recovery Center comes from population growth in Northern Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska, aging of the general US population, economic growth, and continuing push for high-quality, low-cost surgical and recovery settings,” said Bergerson. “We are excited to meet the needs of patients as well as bring new employment opportunities to Northern Colorado.”
