Located on the beautiful Front Range of the Northern Colorado Rockies, LOMAX Window and Door, LLC today announced the opening of LOMAX Custom Woodwerkes, an extension of their window and door restoration, replacement and repair services. Because of its in-house True Divided Lite glass bending capabilities, along with the ability to bend and shape all kinds of exotic woods, LOMAX Custom Woodwerkes is the only one of its kind in Colorado and perhaps the nation to offer its own line of wood windows. “LOMAX is now manufacturing its own brand of Performance Wood Windows,” shared Max Maximenko, owner of LOMAX. “I am confident that our in-house capabilities—combined—sets us apart from any other woodshop in the nation.”

LOMAX prides itself in the attention to detail it pays to every custom woodworking project that enters its doors. “I have always had the desire to get back to the roots of quality, style and craftsmanship in custom woodworking and glass—especially when it comes to historical wood windows,” added Max. “LOMAX is now experiencing enough growth that we’re able to expand and manufacture our own high quality wood products, and because we are the manufacturer, we have the control and can deliver and install our products on time and at an affordable price to customers anywhere in the nation.”

Headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado, LOMAX is fortunate enough to be in a central location for offering its unique custom woodworking products nationwide and can ship all four directions easily and affordably.

In addition to the availability of All Wood Historical Style Windows, Exterior Wood Shutters, Cabinetry, Entertainment Centers and Custom Wood Mouldings, LOMAX is proud to offer its new brand of Bentwood Style Windows.

“When most people hear Bentwood Windows, they think of a radius arch window,” shared John Merritt, General Manager of LOMAX. “Although our Bentwood line includes arch top windows, we can take it a step beyond and manufacture windows that bow. We even bend our own glass to align perfectly with the radius of the window. Every aspect of the window is circular, including the glass and the muntins.”

Traditionally LOMAX has offered the following products and services:

  1. A complete line of wood, fiberglass and vinyl window and door products, including custom entry doors by ProVia. Installation included.
  2. Restoring old wood windows in historical homes and commercial buildings.
  3. Residential and commercial glass and glazing.

With the increase in existing operations and the sales growth in new operations, the Company anticipates significant sales growth in 2015 and is focused on bringing high quality custom woodworking projects from ideas to existence, with a complete line of exotic woods available to choose from.

“We are equipped to deliver on time and as promised to homeowners, architects and builders anywhere, and there is nothing we can’t do when it comes to custom woodworking projects. We look forward to the challenging projects that come our way and we’re ready to take them on,” concluded Max.
