Last Thursday, we officially kicked off the 2026 Moving Fort Collins Forward! Campaign, and there was no better way to start than with a room full of people ready to get to work.

Volunteers representing 15 companies joined Chamber staff at Limonata to rally around a common goal and officially begin the 11-week campaign ahead.

Actually, make that two goals.

Those are ambitious numbers. But standing in that room Thursday, I was reminded that the real strength of Moving Fort Collins Forward! isn’t found on a scoreboard. It’s found in the people willing to help us move those numbers.

A Campaign Powered by People

Over the next several weeks, our volunteers and Chamber staff will be having a lot of conversations.

We’ll introduce businesses to the Chamber and the opportunities that come with being part of this network. We’ll reconnect with longtime members and partners. We’ll invite organizations throughout Fort Collins and Northern Colorado to invest in the work we’re doing together.

Those conversations matter.

Every new member brings another perspective, another connection and another voice to our business community. Every sponsorship helps us create opportunities to convene, advocate and lead. And every organization that chooses to invest in the Chamber strengthens our ability to do the work our region needs.

That’s why Moving Fort Collins Forward! is about much more than membership numbers or dollars raised.

What Are We Moving Forward?

Our work at the Chamber centers on four priorities:
driving economic success; attracting, retaining and aligning talent; inspiring regional transportation solutions; and advancing a business-friendly environment.

Moving Fort Collins Forward! helps fuel that work.

It allows us to bring more people into the conversation, create more opportunities for businesses to connect and make sure the voice of business is represented when decisions affecting our community and economy are being made.

Most importantly, it grows the network of people and organizations willing to help do that work alongside us. Over the coming weeks, we’ll share our progress and celebrate the volunteers, members, sponsors and businesses helping us get there.

For now, I simply want to say thank you to the volunteers representing 15 companies who showed up Thursday and said, in effect, we’re in.

The starting line is behind us.

Let’s move Fort Collins forward.
