FORT COLLINS, Colo. – April 27, 2016 – Premier northern Colorado fitness facility Miramont Lifestyle Fitness is proud to be honored with the 2016 BBB Torch Award for Ethics for large businesses. The award was presented at the BBB’s 18th Annual Torch Award Celebration on Tuesday, April 26 at the Embassy Suites in Loveland in front of numerous business leaders from the northern Colorado and Wyoming regions.

The BBB presents this award to honor three businesses and one nonprofit that demonstrate exceptional ethics and business practice. Winners are selected based on a number of criteria, including commitment to ethical practices by the organization’s leaders, communication of ethical practices to all staff, organizational commitment to ethical practice, organizational commitment to performance management practices, and organizational commitment to ethical human resource practices.
In order to be considered for this award, a business had to have been nominated by July 2015. Nominees were then analyzed and processed with the collaboration of university students, and applications by nominees were completed by December 2015.
