The first ever Meet N Speak Luncheon on August 2 at the elegant Elizabeth Hotel was a great success! Produced by High Impact Event Resources, the event was sponsored by Bank of Colorado and co-sponsored by The Elizabeth Hotel.
Participants put their literature and promotional items on the literature tables, and we passed around decks of business cards during lunch. After a delicious lunch, all 22 participants had the opportunity to deliver a 45 second presentation on any topic, usually their products and services. The creativity was off the charts! We had comedy, singing, skits, raps and poetry. The bottom line: every presentation was listened to intently by the audience and messages were delivered.
Tory Rivoire, of New York Life, won the first place prize for the Best Presentation with a clever song, beautifully delivered. Skit presenters Rex Smithgall and Karis Harmon of Bank of Colorado won the second place prize, donated by Pinot’s Pallet. We also had 4 Business Card Drawing winners of prizes donated by the participants.
The Next Meet N Speak Luncheon will be Thursday, October 11 – so mark your calendar and start preparing. An announcement and attendee on-line registration will be available October 1st, with VISA and MasterCard accepted. Due to time constraints, the event will be limited to 40 presenting participants. Attendees may choose not to be a presenter.
