Make a Difference Day (MDD) is a National Day of Service meant to connect the community to nonprofits through volunteer projects. At United Way of Larimer County, we cultivate a week’s worth of volunteer projects and offer them to companies around the county. A wonderful opportunity to make a difference in your community, with your community through service projects across Larimer County.
Last year, over 200 volunteers supported more than 30 projects at nonprofits across Larimer County. Together, they provided over 800 hours of community service—the equivalent of over $21,000 when calculating the value of their time and efforts! As a volunteer, you can choose your selected service project based on your schedule and sign up individually, with friends or family members, or with your colleagues through a company volunteer group.
