Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC (“CP2”) is pleased to announce Lia Szasz has joined the firm.

Mrs. Szasz is an attorney with CP2’s business litigation group in the firm’s Greeley, Colorado office. Her practice focuses on business and real estate litigation, trust and probate litigation, and agricultural law.
An experienced trial lawyer, Mrs. Szasz has obtained favorable results for her clients before judges and juries alike. She is a vigorous advocate in the courtroom, but encourages clients to seek alternative means of dispute resolution as well. Mrs. Szasz is admitted to practice law in Colorado, Wyoming, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. When not practicing law,

Mrs. Szasz enjoys operating her cow-calf ranch with her family, which makes her particularly suited to assist clients with a wide range of agricultural legal services.

Mrs. Szasz obtained her undergraduate degree from Washington State University, and obtained her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2015. While in law school, Mrs. Szasz was awarded best overall combined brief and oral argument in the Colorado Appellate Advocacy Competition. She is committed to serving northern Colorado both professionally and as a member of its community.
