Health insurance is important any time, but it’s especially important now during the pandemic; we all benefit from people in our community getting tested early and receiving treatment when they feel ill. Yet, with the unprecedented job losses, an estimated 338,000 Coloradans have lost their job-based health insurance since March, leaving them without access to health care. This is in addition to the 10% of adults in Colorado who were already uninsured. I know that small businesses have their own unique struggles as our community deals with the economic impact of COVID-19. We are here to help Chamber Members and their employees find some security in knowing that they have affordable health coverage.
At Larimer Health Connect we work with individuals and families to find the best health coverage option to fit their needs and budget. This includes Medicaid, CHP+, and the Connect for Health Colorado Marketplace. Our appointments are always free and we are currently offering a virtual web-based format. If an individual does not have access to a computer or phone, we are able to meet in-person at our Old Town Fort Collins location.
