FORT COLLINS, COLO. – July 13, 2016 – The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is excited to welcome Fort Collins-based band, Winchester Holiday, on July 20, 2016 on the west lawn of Colorado State University’s Lory Student Center. The free concert begins at 6 p.m. and will feature a unique indie-rock-folk sound.

The tightly knit band is comprised of two brothers who have known each other since grade school – Dan and Pete Workman and Wilson and Noah Cecil – plus one “adopted wild child,” Adam Federer. The once amateur basement music creators have blossomed into the mature breakout band that they are today, continually wowing audiences in the Fort Collins area. The band is so rooted in the Choice City that their debut album is even titled “Lake, Laurel and Vine.”

Winchester Holiday – formed in 2011 – has a musical style falls somewhere between 1960s folk and new age rock. They boast a sound that covers everything from Guthrie-esque ballads to organ-infused anthems for a diverse, crowd-pleasing experience.

Opening for Winchester Holiday on July 20 is the talented young musician, Jaanvi Gurung, of Little Kid Rock Band. Concert goers can also enjoy local food trucks: Sustainable Spoon, Austin Taco, Gunter’s Bavarian Grill, Human Bean Coffee Truck and Ba-Nom-a-Nom.
