FORT COLLINS, COLO. – July 19, 2017 – The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is excited to welcome folk rock band, The Coteries, to the stage on Wednesday, July 26, 6-8:30 p.m. This free concert will take place on the west lawn of the Lory Student Center at Colorado State University.
The Coteries formed through an 11,000-mile road trip across the American countryside, where they created their signature folk sound. The energetic trio wows audiences with a variety of instruments, including acoustic guitars, mandolin, a stomp box and harmonicas.
Band members include front woman Emily Parasiliti on vocals and harmonica; Matt Runciman on guitar, mandolin and vocals; and Ben Brosh on guitar, mandolin and percussion. Originally playing at farmers markets and local bars, The Coteries’ talent has since earned them gigs at major music festivals, such as Divide Music Festival and Harmonium Music Fest, and led them to play alongside notable artists like The Fray and Cold War Kids. In July of 2016, the group released their debut EP, titled “Reason in the Road.” Learn more at thecoteries.com.
