FORT COLLINS, COLO. – June 22, 2016 – The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is proud to present up-and-coming rock ‘n’ roll band, Maxwell Mud, on June 29, 2016. The free concert begins at 6 p.m. and will take place on the west lawn of Colorado State University’s Lory Student Center.
Maxwell Mud boasts an authentic rock ‘n’ roll musical style that is reminiscent of The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and many other classic rock legends. The Fort Collins-based band is comprised of three sharply dressed gentlemen, Brian Kittrell, Kenny Jones and Kevin Johnson.
Kittrell, the band’s lead vocalist and songwriter, balances the traditional vibe with modern art through diverse songwriting. His unique storytelling style is expressed through Jones’s bass playing and Johnson’s drumming. All three men hail from the Midwest. Although their debut album was released in just November 2015, they are quickly gaining acclaim in the northern Colorado region and beyond.
Maxwell Mud will be preceded on stage by Little Kid Rock Band performer, Grace Kuch, on June 29. The evening will also feature local food trucks: The Goodness Truck, Austin Taco, A-Maize’n Kettle Corn and Revolution Artisan Pops.
The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is produced by Mantooth Marketing with thanks to the generous support of Title Sponsors Colorado State University, Kaiser Permanente and Thrivent Financial.
