The Lagoon Summer Concert Series, one of Northern Colorado’s favorite family-friendly concert series, is in full swing on the west lawn of the Colorado State University (CSU) Lory Student Center! Owned and produced by Mantooth Company for the past 25 years, this popular summer tradition brings together friends and families on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. through July 27, 2022.
This week Lagoon Concert fans can enjoy the energetic sounds of Rusty 44. This five-piece Bluegrass/Americana band with a unique style of acoustic music features fiery flat-picking, fiddle playing and mandolin strumming, creating a dance-friendly vibe for all audiences.
There is always more than just live music at the Lagoon Concert! This week some of CSU’s talented athletes will be on site to greet Lagooners and play with kids on the field. Plus, CSU will be hosting booths for Allicar Museum of Art, Center for Environmental Justice, CSU Online and CSU Athletics. Other sponsors that will be hosting booths at the event include Canvas Credit Union, Poudre River Library District, The Group Real Estate Inc and City of Fort Collins.
Attendees should bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, kids and leashed pets to enjoy the show. Food trucks will be on site offering a great choice of dinner, snacks and drinks, including The Goodness Truck, Gelato and aMore, Bedrock BBQ, The Sweaty Moose and Human Bean of Northern Colorado.
