Beginning Monday, May 4, the intersection of Walnut and Linden, just north of Old Town Square, will be closed to install the new water main connection and make street paving repairs. The intersection is planned to reopen Friday May 8. The closure affects vehicle, bicyclist and pedestrian traffic as well as a quantity of on-street public parking spaces. Detours will be marked. All Businesses will remain open.

About the Old Town Square Renovation Project
As part of the vibrant Downtown experience, the public plaza portion of Old Town Square has been heavily used over the last 30 years. The infrastructure is reaching the end of its lifecycle and maintenance costs have increased, making it more feasible to create and implement a renovation plan. The DDA and its project team are committed to creating a high-quality, public gathering space that accommodates a variety of activities now and into the future. The final designs will also be on display during the groundbreaking ceremony.
