NORTHERN COLORADO (March 21, 2025) – Human Bean Northern Colorado and Colorado State University (CSU) encouraged fans and customers to “fight like a ram” in support of local cancer fighters. In conjunction with CSU’s Fight Like a Ram basketball games, The Human Bean donated $1 from every Bright Energy with Cold Foam drink sold at all 10 drive-thru locations throughout February to the UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the effort raised an impressive $1,100 to help patients in need.
CSU’s Fight Like a Ram basketball games serve to honor cancer warriors. For the games played on February 1 and March 1, the CSU basketball teams wore jerseys with the names of cancer fighters instead of their own.
The Human Bean crafted a special drink for this initiative. Called the “Fight Like a Ram Bright,” the drink featured CSU’s signature green and gold colors. The drink is The Human Bean’s Bright Energy with the sweet flavor of passion fruit and kiwi cold foam topped with green and gold sprinkles.
On March 18, 2025, a check for $1,100 was presented to members of the UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation and the UCHealth Cancer Center.
The Fight Like a Ram games, a highlight on CSU’s athletic calendar, celebrates the resilience and strength of those affected by cancer. This partnership with CSU emphasizes our shared commitment to supporting patients and their families.
