FORT COLLINS, COLO., (August 2, 2023) – Did you know that one in five people in Weld County is hungry and almost 10 percent of the population in Larimer County may be facing food insecurity? To help our local communities faced with the need for food assistance, Human Bean Northern Colorado is hosting a special fundraising program. On Friday, August 18, 2023, one dollar from every drink purchased, at any Human Bean Northern Colorado location will be donated to help those in need. Proceeds will be distributed between the Food Bank for Larimer County and Weld Food Bank.
The Food Bank for Larimer County serves to deliver health, hope and humanity to stabilize the lives of their clients and build a vibrant community. Each year the nonprofit provides food to more than 33,000 people in need through their programs and community partners. Weld Food Bank works to alleviate hunger and poverty by providing food and services to people in need, while also educating the public about the nature of hunger and poverty.
