The Human Bean’s Guest Barista Day program continues to prove successful in raising money for those in need in our community. Human Bean Northern Colorado dedicated their Guest Barista Day on Thursday, May 11 to raising money for Pathways, Northern Colorado’s leading provider in hospice care, palliative care and grief and loss services. 10 percent of sales made that day at the Fort Collins 1822 S. College Avenue location was donated to Pathways. Representatives from Pathways served as guest baristas to support the effort and share information about their facilities with customers.
The Human Bean’s Guest Barista Day program successfully connects nonprofits to customers, helping to raise money for those in need around Northern Colorado. Representatives from a selected nonprofit serve as “guest baristas” for a couple of hours during the day at participating locations. The nonprofit representatives engage with customers as they make their way through the drive-thru. Nonprofits can tell customers more about their mission, while distributing information. In addition to the ten percent donated to the nonprofit, customers can make cash donations through the “Fill the Cup” campaign.
A check was presented by Human Bean to Pathways on June 5, 2023, for $319.90.
