LOVELAND, COLO. – Nov. 21, 2016 – As part of its dedication to serving the community, High Country Beverage is teaming up with Oskar Blues Brewery’s CAN’d Aid Foundation to donate 60 bicycles to Irish Elementary School in Fort Collins. All community members are invited to participate in the fundraiser by building the bikes on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 4-7 p.m. at Road 34, 1213 W. Elizabeth St.

“The CAN’d Aid Foundation does incredible work within our community,” said Steve Nichols, President of High Country Beverage. “We are proud to collaborate with them to benefit Irish Elementary School, and we hope our fellow community members will help us support this cause.”

The CAN’d Aid Foundation was formed in 2013 to help flood victims in Longmont and Lyons, and since then the foundation has raised more than $2.5 million for charity projects across northern Colorado. Primary focuses of the foundation include music, sustainability and bicycling endeavors. More information may be found at candaid.org.

The bikes built at this fundraiser will go to underprivileged graduates of Irish Elementary School who may not have access to safe and durable bikes otherwise. No bike-building experience is necessary. The completed bikes will be presented to Irish Elementary School on Friday, Dec. 9.
