FORT COLLINS – October 17, 2016 – Forget the ghosts and goblins…imagine fairies, furry friends and everything fun at the Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Ave, at the ninth annual Halloween Enchanted Garden on Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is one of the only candy-free Halloween celebrations in Fort Collins.
Planned especially for children ages 2 – 8, the day will be jam packed with Halloween amusement for the kids, which is always fun, never frightening. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes for the event.
A variety of attractions are planned:
• “The Reading Retrievers” will read Halloween stories and do tricks;
• Magic by Tim Foolery – mysterious and fun;
• Giant Kerplunk and Jenga;
• Creative seasonal crafts;
• Mad Scientist Experiment Zone with Museum of Discovery;
• Pumpkin & Pirate bowling;
• The legendary Talking Pumpkin;
• Hot drinks and snacks for purchase from The Coffee Stop.

About the Gardens on Spring Creek
The Gardens on Spring Creek opened in May 2004, part of a vital public/private partnership between the city of Fort Collins and the Friends of the Gardens on Spring Creek. The Gardens currently includes a Plant Select® Demonstration Garden, a Children’s’ Garden, the Garden of Eatin’, a Rock Garden, and the Xeric Parkway Strip.
