Green and Gold Weekend, hosted by Canvas Credit Union and highlighted by the UCHealth Green and Gold Game, has been set for April 21-23. A complete list of all activities including parking information and registration links, if necessary, can be found HERE. Across the Colorado State University campus, Green and Gold Weekend will feature four sport programs in action – tennis, track and field, soccer, and football – with a number of additional activities for Ram fans to engage in. On Thursday, April 21, tennis hosts the Border War when they take on Wyoming at 1 p.m. at the CSU Tennis courts. On Friday, April 22, it will be the first day of the Jack Christiansen Invitational for the track and field program. Then, on Saturday, it’s a full day of activities for Ram fans! The first-ever Grit Run, presented by Canvas Credit Union and UCHealth, will be a 5k walk-run across campus. Led by Colorado State Head Football Coach Jay Norvell and his wife Kim, proceeds from the Grit Run will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – a non-profit near and dear to the Norvell’s hearts. Registration is $25 and includes a commemorative shirt courtesy of Canvas Credit Union. Colorado State students can register for $20 each or for $15 each in teams of five or more. Colorado State will also host a student tailgate from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ahead of a 1 p.m. kick off for the UCHealth Green and Gold Game inside Canvas Stadium. Immediately following the game, the football program will host an interactive non-contact youth experience, presented by Canvas Credit Union, on Sonny Lubick Field led by 2022 football team members and coaches. Tennis (Noon), track and field (All Day), and soccer (3 p.m.) will also be in action. For former football lettermen, the Ram Club will also be hosting a number of events over the weekend exclusively for lettermen and their families. For more information, click HERE.
