Fort Collins, CO, for immediate release:  The Good Samaritan Society Fort Collins Village is
proud to announce a zero-deficiency state survey, granted in late August 2016 by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment after an intense three-day audit.

According to the Nursing Home Data Compendium 2015, only 10.2% of all nursing homes in the country received a deficiency-free survey result in 2014, up from an 8.8 national percentage in 2010.

“This is no small feat,” said Fort Collins Village Administrator, Fred Pitzl. “It takes everyone doing their job the right way every single day.  You play like you practice.  This survey was the time we were measured for what we have done the other 362 days of the year.”

The Fort Collins Village is the only not-for-profit senior living community in the city that houses senior living with services, assisted living, and skilled nursing care all under one roof.  The facility also offers short-term post-acute rehabilitation and in-and-out-patient physical and occupational therapy all on site.
