The PVH and MCR Foundation invites northern Colorado golf enthusiasts to come out in support of healthcare education at its 3rd annual Golf Classic on Monday, August 10 at Fort Collins Country Club. Spots are still available, though filling up quickly, for teams and sponsors to participate in this yearly fundraising event. The proceeds from the tournament will go to support education for caregivers and healthcare professionals in the University of Colorado Health system throughout northern Colorado.
“We are anticipating a great turnout for this year’s event, where golfers will have a chance to meet scholarship recipients and experience some of our educational technology first-hand.” said Erica Siemers, senior director of the PVH and MCR Foundation. “We are grateful for support from our community that helps us to offer the most advanced educational opportunities for our outstanding professionals and clinical care teams.
Specifically, proceeds from the Golf Classic will go to support:
- Nursing and Healthcare Scholarships — Educational support is awarded to dedicated and high-performing employees for the purpose of advancing their knowledge and building their leadership skills.
- Clinical Education and Innovation Center — Offering evidence-based interdisciplinary instruction and practice, the Clinical Education and Innovation Center is a state-of-the-art facility that provides individual and team-based training for doctors, nurses, technologists and caregivers.Many local businesses have already stepped up to support these initiatives through sponsorship of the PVH and MCR Golf Classic. Advanced Medical Imaging Consultants (AMIC), a decades-long foundation partner, is returning as the title sponsor.
