Buon appetito!

For a magical meal on the summer solstice, An Italian Supper Under the Stars will be hosted on Thursday, June 20, by the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures and City Park Gelato & aMore. The repast is part of the Museum’s Global Adventures club, designed for those who love to travel, want to recount their travel experiences, delight in sharing stories of travel, and/or dream of traveling one day.

Dishes will be prepared at table side by Paul, who will share stories of his Italian cultural roots blended with the influence of his wife, Nenita, who is Filipino. They will also share their adventures of building their acclaimed catering business.”

The sumptuous menu will include assorted non-alcoholic beverages, Rigatoni LaRosa, Piedmontese alla Fiorentina, Fiorentina of Florence, fresh mozzarella, caprese platters with crostini bread, arugula and fresh fennel salad, gelato, and traditional Italian cookies. Seating will begin at 6:30 pm outside City Park Gelato & aMore at 1720 W. Mulberry Street. In the event of inclement weather, the dinner will be served at City Park Shelter #6.
