FORT COLLINS, Colo., Oct. 13, 2016 – Fort Collins Marketplace, located at 3601 S College Ave., invites families and fun-loving pets in northern Colorado to celebrate Halloween at its Candy Crawl event. The free event is on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 4-6 p.m. and will feature many activities for children and pets in a safe and positive environment.

Candy Crawl will include trick-or-treating at participating merchants, a pumpkin decorating contest sponsored by Butter Cream Cupcakery, a spooky petting zoo featuring reptiles, photo booth, balloon twisting and a children’s Halloween movie screening of Toy Story of Terror. Movie show times are at 4:10 p.m., 4:40 p.m., 5:10 p.m. and 5:40 p.m.

One of the most unique event activities is the pet costume contest hosted by Pet City. Mild-mannered pets of all shapes and sizes are welcomed to show off their Halloween spirit throughout the event. The winner will receive a year’s supply of pet food, courtesy of Pet City. Contest results will be announced at 5:30 p.m. outside of Pet City. Participants must be present to win.
