The new indoor tennis facility at the Fort Collins Country Club has been recognized with the Chief Building 2014 Building of the Year Honorable Mention Sports-Entertainment Award. Chief Buildings is a division of Chief Industries, designers and manufacturers of custom metal buildings. The award recognizes outstanding construction using a Chief Building metal framework.
The Fort Collins Country Club indoor tennis facility was built and completed in November 2014 by General Contractor Heath Construction with the building provided by Heath Steel. The 27,500 square foot indoor tennis facility features a Chief Building metal frame with clear span design over three full size tennis courts, a viewing mezzanine, reflective bright white roof insulation, energy efficient insulated metal wall panels with a two color stucco finish, standing seam metal roof, eave extensions and cupolas.
For Club members, the facility provides three indoor courts, the largest spectator viewing area in the region, and an expanded 2,150 square foot fitness and spa facility, ranking it among the largest tennis centers in the area.
