Widely considered one of the premiere cellists in the world, Zuill Bailey is a Grammy Award-winning, internationally renowned soloist, recitalist, artistic director, and teacher. His rare combination of celebrated artistry, technical wizardry, and engaging personality has secured his place as one of the most sought-after and active cellists today. As a renowned recording artist, Bailey has produced more than 30 chart-topping titles. He won a Best Solo Performance Grammy Award in 2017 for his Live Recording of “Tales of Hemingway,” by composer Michael Daugherty.
Bryan Wallick is gaining recognition as one of the great American virtuoso pianists of his generation. Gold medalist of the 1997 Vladimir Horowitz International Piano Competition in Kyiv, Ukraine, he has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and South Africa. Wallick is an avid chamber musician and has performed with many notable string players and other instrumentalists. He recently joined the Mendelssohn Trio, which is in residence at Colorado State University. Recent engagements include appearances with the Brevard Symphony, Boulder Symphony, Cape Town Philharmonic, and the Fort Collins Symphony, among others. Wallick is also Assistant Professor of Music at Colorado State University.
