Where Flowers Bloom, So Does Hope: Acrylic Painting Art Class

Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 1:00-4:00pm. (In person at gallery classroom.)
In this acrylic class we will be learning how to paint a beautiful mountain lake with colorful wildflowers in the foreground. This class will include information on acrylic paint and supplies like brushes and different painting surfaces. You will learn through discussions, step-by-step demonstrations, and one-on-one instructor help as you paint.
In this class we will explore different acrylic techniques such as: color mixing, painting gradients, washes, and use of light and shadow to create strong compositions.
The class atmosphere will be a positive, supportive, and relaxed learning environment. This class will emphasize experimentation and the use of your own voice to create something bright and fun. All materials are included. Ages 13 and up.
