Session Description:
This presentation equips employers with essential knowledge about two key employment incentive programs—the Federal Bonding Program and the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC). By the end of this presentation, attendees will: understand the purpose & benefits of WOTC and the Federal Bonding Program, learn how WOTC can provide significant tax credits (up to $9,600 per employee) for businesses hiring from specific targeted groups, and learn how fidelity bonding protects employers against employee dishonesty for at-risk job seekers.

Presenter Bio:
Madison Ytterock brings over four years of experience from the private financial sector, having worked with prominent companies like Fidelity Investments and John Hancock. This background provides her with a strong understanding of both individual and business financial needs. After transitioning to the public sector, Madison joined the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. Currently, she serves as a Program Specialist for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit, Federal Bonding Program, and Foreign Labor Certification Program. Madison now assists employers in hiring talented and valuable employees while simultaneously supporting job seekers in finding meaningful employment.
