The Rich and Complex History of Día de los Muertos

“The Rich and Complex History of Día de los Muertos” will be presented from 6-8 pm Thursday, Oct. 22, in a virtual program hosted by the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. Daniela Castillo, Senior Instructor in CSU’s Department of Journalism & Media Communication, will explore the magical history of Day of the Dead, a holiday celebrated throughout Mexico honoring family members and friends who have passed. Admission is $5 per Zoom connection, with registration and payment available at globalvillagemuseum.org. Zoom connection information will be sent on the morning of the program.
