Step Up for Families: 400,000 Step Challenge

Join us from April 1 to May 6, 2025, for Step Up for Families: 400,000 Step Challenge virtual walk-a-thon, a unique event designed to support foster, adoptive, and kinship families. This event is created to raise awareness for the 400,000 children currently in foster care across the United States. Funds raised support Finally Home, a charitable organization that equips foster, adoptive, and kinship families to build healthy homes where children and youth can heal.

Participants are encouraged to walk 400,000 steps, symbolizing each child in the foster care system. invite families, friends, co-workers, and community members to join together in this meaningful challenge. Both walkers and those who support them will help provide essential resources and support to families who open their hearts and homes to children in need.
