Landon began his career as a Strategy & Operations Consultant for Deloitte Consulting. Landon advised Fortune 500 companies across several industries – Grocery, Telecom, Consumer Products, Foodservice Distribution, and Retail – on strategic and operational challenges facing their business, including Supply Chain Strategy, Growth, Business Unit Divestiture, Product Development, Competitive Strategy, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
In 2012, Landon joined Hartford Homes and ascended from an Analyst to VP of Land Development to President, eventually acquiring the company in 2016. Landon has grown the Homebuilding business from 9 employees, ~80 homes annually, and ~$20M in annual revenue to ~45 employees, ~200 homes annually, and ~$100M in annual revenue. He has also established systems, processes and a high-performance culture that has led the company to be a top 10% performer among peers (according to National Association of Homebuilders).
Landon has grown the Development business, leading the acquisition, entitlement and development of ~1,500 lots. Landon is currently managing an additional ~2,800 lots through the acquisition, entitlement and development process.
Landon has a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Business Honors from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
Landon currently serves on the Poudre Valley Fire Protection District (PVFPD) and Habitat for Humanity Fort Collins Boards. Land was a participant in Leadership Fort Collins and is an active member of Northern Colorado United for Youth.
