Build skills. Make connections. Put them to work.

Pint of Professional Development, presented by Dr. Erika Michalski and Strategically Authentic, is a five-week professional development series designed to help early-career professionals sharpen practical workplace skills, build stronger professional relationships and open doors to future growth opportunities.

As part of our commitment to connecting the business community with the expertise and opportunities offered by our members, the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share this upcoming program from Chamber member Strategically Authentic.

Each session combines engaging professional development, networking opportunities and one beer or nonalcoholic beverage of the participant’s choosing.

What You’ll Explore

  • Optimizing Productivity Skills
  • Practical Project Management
  • Professional Communication
  • Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace
  • Networking Through Community Engagement

Learning That Continues After the Session

One of the program’s unique features is its Functional Follow Up.

When registering, each participant identifies someone in a supervisory capacity who will receive follow-up information about the session content. That gives supervisors an opportunity to reinforce what participants are learning and support them as they begin putting new skills into practice.

It also gives participants a better opportunity to demonstrate their growth where it matters most: back at work.

Session Format

The first four sessions begin at the Visit Fort Collins office, with professional development content from 3:30–4:25 p.m.

Participants will then head to a nearby Old Town establishment for networking and the beer or nonalcoholic beverage of their choice.

Old Town Stops

  • CooperSmith’s Brewpub & Billiards
  • Salt Road Brewing
  • Equinox Brewing Co.
  • Gilded Goat Brewing Company – Old Town Taproom

The fifth and final session will take place entirely at Horse & Dragon Brewing Company.

Practical skills. Stronger connections. Growth you can bring back to work.

Whether you’re looking to communicate more effectively, manage your work with greater confidence or simply become more intentional about building your professional network, Pint of Professional Development offers practical skills you can take back to work the very next day.
