November Business of the Month – arc Thrift Stores

The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize arc Thrift Stores as our November Business of the Month. This recognition celebrates and honors Chamber members who have been with the Chamber for 10+ years and are selected by the Chamber Staff, Board, and the Red Carpet Committee.

arc Thrift Stores has been serving Colorado communities since 1968, when it was founded to help fund programs and advocacy efforts for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What began as a small group of volunteer-run thrift shops has grown into one of the largest employers of people with disabilities in the state, operating more than 30 stores and donation stations across Colorado. The organization’s long-standing mission is to promote independence, inclusion, and dignity for all, funding local Arc chapters that provide vital resources, education, and support services.

The Fort Collins location continues this legacy of impact by offering affordable, sustainable shopping options and creating meaningful employment opportunities right here in Northern Colorado. Every donation and purchase at arc Thrift Stores helps reduce waste, support local programs, and uplift individuals and families in our community, carrying forward more than 50 years of compassion, connection, and community pride.

Join us on Thursday, November 13, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. as we honor arc Thrift Stores, 225 S. Meldrum Street, Fort Collins. The event will conclude with the presentation of the Business of the Month plaque by the Chamber’s Red Carpet Committee.
