Did you know that 90% of juries think that employers are negligent if they do not have adequate documentation to support adverse employment decisions? Human resources’ guidance to managers and supervisors is to “document, document, document.” But do you know how, when, and what to document? This session will provide managers and supervisors with the skills to effectively document employee performance. Attendees will learn a simple performance documentation process, understand its importance in preventing legal claims, and practice writing job-related performance documentation.  During this is interactive presentation attendees will learn from experienced employment attorney Kate Vorlage and get to practice writing job-related performance documentation.

Cost is $15/person and includes lunch and seminar materials. Lunch and networking activities will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Fort Collins Area Chamber Board Room, 225 S. Meldrum St. Registration for this event is due by Noon on Monday, November 7. Please call after 12pm.  No walk up registration is available for this event.
