Lunch n’ Learn: Dementia at Work and at HomePresented by Cyndy Luzinski, Dementia-Friendly Communities of Northern Colorado
Tuesday, December 18, 2018
11:30-1:00 p.m.

It seems that we all know someone these days living with the cognitive challenges of dementia. Many families gather over the holidays long enough to notice “something’s not right” with an aging loved one. Or they gather expecting a loved one living with dementia to be “fine” in a room filled with loving family members, only to be surprised when “out of nowhere, he became agitated.”
We will discuss what to look for and how to respond to ensure well-being for loved ones and customers living with dementia and help answer questions like;
Why are we hearing so much about dementia lately?
What does it mean to be a dementia-friendly business?
How do I recognize if my customers, clients, and family members might be living with dementia?
This class will give you tips to assist customers, clients, and family members living with dementia or serving as care partners, 3 Golden Rules of Contented Dementia,
Dementia-Friendly customer service communication strategies and this class will end giving you Dementia-related resources in Northern Colorado.
Registration is $17/Members, $25/Non-Members
