Living Library “Book Fair”

January 10, 2019 @ 12:00 am

Want to learn about the art of lutherie? How about hearing from someone experiencing homelessness or getting to know an “Awesome Dude” who is conquering cerebral palsy and thriving? Or maybe you’re curious about bee keeping or urban homesteading?
Nearly two dozen human “Books” will be available for you to “check out” during the Living Library Book Fair on Saturday, February 2 at Old Town Library. Registration is required to participate as a “Reader” and “borrow” books. Readers may borrow multiple books over the course of the event.

Register online via www.PoudreLibraries.org or call the Answer Center at 970-221-6740.

The Books will share their individual stories, talents, and experiences and engage in conversation with small groups of Readers during the event. The Books will speak only for themselves and their own experiences, and are prepared for open dialogue.
