Author and speaker Nancy Sprowell Geise will present the powerful true story of Holocaust survivor Joe Rubinstein, as told in her acclaimed book Auschwitz #34207 – The Joe Rubinstein Story.
In 2007, Rubinstein told Geise that he would never share his experiences surviving Auschwitz and several of the most notorious Nazi concentration camps. Five years later, he changed his mind. The result was Auschwitz #34207, a deeply moving account of survival, resilience, and hope.
This presentation offers a rare opportunity to hear the story of a Holocaust survivor who later made his home in Fort Collins, and to reflect on the enduring lessons of history through one man’s remarkable life.
