Cristóbal (Chris) Garcia is a graduate of Colorado State University, the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), and the Latino Leadership Institute executive leadership program through the University of Denver. He currently acts as the associate director of alumni relations at UNC, and is co-founder of the Latino Northern Colorado podcast, which highlights issues, opportunities and leaders in the Hispanic/Latinx community in Northern Colorado. Garcia currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Latino Leadership, Advocacy and Research Organization (CLLARO),  on the Policy Committee for the Colorado Nature Conservancy, and co-leads the Latinx Professional Network young professionals group in Greeley/Evans.

He is a 2018 Honoree of both the BizWest Northern Colorado 40 Under Forty and the Colorado Coalition for the Educational Advancement of Latinos’ Student Impact Award, and a 2020 honoree of the Best Of Greeley in the Community Activist category. In his free time, he enjoys connecting with family and friends, and hiking the Colorado outdoors.
