The City of Fort Collins Community Capital Improvement Program (CCIP) tax will expire on December 31, 2025. City staff are working to create a package to offer voters a ballot issue in November 2025 for renewal of tax that would run from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2035. The City’s capital tax renewals, dating back to 1973, have historically funded transportation projects, active modes infrastructure, new parks & recreation facilities, and various other community amenities that make Fort Collins one of the choice destinations to live, work, play, and retire. City staff will be presenting an early project list proposal, and obtaining feedback on the types of projects the public would like to see funded with the next cycle of the sales tax.
Join us for a Leadership Alumni Conversation about the tax renewal on Thursday, January 30, at Horse & Dragon Brewing Company. We want your thoughts and feedback! Registration is free, buy your own treats and reconnect with a local issue and your Leadership Fort Collins and Northern Colorado Alumni!
