Lead Lunch and Learn: Finding Joy with a Disability: Magic ,Curiosity, Play
July 1 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Join us for a lunchtime educational workshop. Get empowered with women and non-binary leaders at this powerful educational event!
Ditch the elevator pitch- our events support connection and collaboration! At She Goes High, we don’t blindly pass out business cards or ask, “so, what do you do?”
We support the human BEHIND the business, not the humas AS the business.
Who it’s for: Our events are neurodivergent-affirming and designed for introverts, by introverts. (The extroverts show up anyway!) We are a safe space and LBTQIA+ folx are welcome here!
ABOUT OUR PRESENTATION:
Living with a disability often means navigating a world that can feel rigid, exhausting, or out of sync with who we are. Over time, it’s easy to lose touch with the spark that once made life feel full of possibility. But joy isn’t something that disappears—it’s something we can reclaim, even in the midst of challenge. In this warm, empowering session, neurodivergent educator and coach Mandy Casteel-Denney invites participants to rediscover joy by reconnecting with the magic of everyday moments, child-like curiosity, and the healing power of play. Through personal storytelling, reflection, and simple practices, you’ll learn how to find lightness and delight again—no matter what life looks like right now. You’ll leave reminded that joy is not something to earn—it’s something that’s been waiting for you all along.
ABOUT OUR PRESENTER:
Mandy Casteel-Denney (M.Ed.) is a neurodivergent educator, parent coach, and founder of Blue Tulip Inclusive Education, where she helps families and individuals reconnect with joy, nature, and authenticity. Drawing from her lived experience as an autistic ADHDer and her 20 years in education, Mandy brings a blend of heart, humor, and hard-won wisdom to her work. Her mission is to remind people that even when life feels heavy or complex, joy is still possible—and often begins with reclaiming a sense of magic, curiosity, and play. Through her workshops, talks, and community programs, Mandy creates compassionate spaces where difference is celebrated, vulnerability is welcomed, and everyone is invited to shine exactly as they are.
