Larimer Chorale’s Carmina Burana

The Larimer Chorale will inaugurate its 42nd season with a performance of the immensely popular Carmina Burana, Carl Orff’s monumental, mesmerizing, and rhythmic masterwork. Based on secular – and even carnal – texts, ancient Latin mixes with Middle High German and Old Provençal French on subjects ranging from drinking and gambling, to gluttony, lust, and love, and the inevitable cycle of life that brings rebirth each year. With the inclusion of Centennial Children’s Chorus, Canyon Concert Ballet, and professional soloists, this concert will surely be a feast for the ears and for the eyes!Date: Saturday, October 20, 2018
