Lagoon Summer Concert Series – The Jakarta Band

The best bands, fresh eats from local food trucks and the beautiful setting of Colorado State University – the free Lagoon Summer Concert Series embodies everything worth celebrating in northern Colorado! For seven weeks throughout the summer, community members young and young at heart are invited to enjoy live, free music from all genres – indie, country, pop, folk rock, reggae and more. Grab your lawn chairs, picnic blankets and dancing shoes for NoCo’s favorite Wednesday night tradition!
On June 19th, come see the Jakarta Band! Based out of Denver, The Jakarta Band has a unique old school funk, disco, and R&B sound. This nine-member band loves to get their audiences up and dancing. Lead member Isaac Points brings more than 35 years of experience to the stage and has played with national legends, including Chuck Berry and Tony Bennett.
