Join the worldwide event at our opening of Tai Chi and QuiGong at 10am. Held in over 70 nations, worldwide. This event brings people together across ethnic, racial, religious and geographical borders in a celebration of personal and global health and healing. All levels welcome.
11:00 – 11:45 – Jillian Fragale
Yoga Meditation – designed to relax and integrate the mind, body, and soul. Students can expect breath work, asana, and visualization techniques. The combination of such practices is to encourage a stronger mind-body awareness and enable quieting the outside world in order to connect with our inner world, heart, and desires. All levels welcome.
12:00 – 12:45 – Krista Jones
Vinyasa Flow – An energetic sequence mindfully integrating breath with movement. This class encourages practitioners to expand their yoga practice through peak poses and
creative sequencing. All levels welcome.
1:00 – 1:45 – Heather Longino
Join Heather and her troupe in an improvisational tribal style belly dancing. This form of belly dance is based on a shared vocabulary of movements and cues. Have fun and shake your hips. All levels welcomed.
2:00 – 2:45 – Laura Shiels
Poi/flow arts – Poi is a flow art originated by the Maori people in New Zealand, where you swing tethered balls through a variety of rhythmic patterns, popularized by the art of fire spinning. For adults and kids, this beginners session will cover basic moves, several tricks, transitions, and fun practices. Great exercise for body and brain.
3:00 – 3:45 – Beth O’Brien
Spring De-Tox and Cleanse Yoga. This yoga class will help you leave winter behind and reset for a new season. Class includes meditation, detox flow, and yin poses to restore inner and outer balance. All levels welcome.
