Hope Lives Opens Model Nominations for the 2017 Survivor Fashion Show

Fort Collins, CO – February, 2017 The Hope Lives 2017 Model Committee is pleased to announce nominations are now being accepted for the 2017 breast cancer survivor fashion show. Nominate a friend, family member or coworker or yourself! The deadline to submit your nomination is 5pm March 1, 2017. Honorees will be announced March 15th. Nomination forms are available at www.hopelives.org

The fashion show is the highlight of the Celebrating Life in the Pink Gala hosted by HopeLives during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The tradition began 16 years ago, and continues to be a life changing experience for honorees who are selected as models.

The women honored the evening of the Gala each have a story to tell, a testimony other courage and strength while battling with breast cancer. With the audience cheering them on, it is a time of celebration for honorees and their families as they walk the runway with pride and exuberance! “The experience brings an opportunity for each honoree to shine in her beauty,” says Suzanne Fries, Model Committee Chair.

Hope lIves is a regional non-profit organization providing free supportive care services, guidance and education to women in breast cancer treatment. “Our clients are so appreciative of the opportunity to have assistance who;e managing their treatment plan. Services such as professional housekeeping when you are too exhausted to clean and transportation to appointments when operating a vehicle is not possible are available to name a few. We may take these daily tasks for granted but help with these is a huge blessing to someone walking through cancer. Our dedicated staff and professional service providers in the community work together to bring otherwise overlooked or unaffordable options to women, and for that we are both humbled and honored to play a role in the life of our clients, “ says Mary Vivo Executive Director.
