Exotic Contents, Exquisite Containers: Perfume Bottles and Jewelry Boxes of Ancient Greece

Perfume bottles and jewelry boxes of Ancient Greece will be examined from 6-7:30 pm Tuesday, Oct. 12, in a Zoom presentation hosted by the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. Sarah James, Associate Professor of Classics at the University of Colorado Boulder, will present “Exotic Contents, Exquisite Containers: Perfume Bottles and Jewelry Boxes of Ancient Greece.” The program is in conjunction with the Museum’s Main Gallery exhibit, “How We Hold It: Containing Our Lives.” Admission to the lecture is $5 per Zoom connection, with registration available at globalvillagemuseum.org.
