Community Speaking Event Aims to Inspire Positive Change While Supporting Families in Need
In partnership with Grace Place Church and House of Neighborly Service, motivational speaker and business consultant Johnny Fimple, will host a live community speaking event on Friday, Feb. 27, with the goal of inspiring positive change while collecting winter essentials for local families.
The event will take place from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Grace Place, 75 Meadowlark Drive, Berthoud, and is open to the public. Admission is free with the donation of a winter coat or canned and dry food items. Organizers are aiming to collect 100 coats and 200 food items to support neighbors in need during the winter months.
Presented by Iconic Digital Studios, the event will feature excerpts from Fimple’s upcoming book, Everything Matters, along with an encore presentation titled Careful What You Wish For. The talk will be recorded live and followed by appetizers and drinks provided by Timberline Cafe.
“Community change doesn’t start with grand gestures; it starts when people come together with intention,” Fimple said. “This event blends service, reflection, and connection in a way that’s accessible to everyone.”
Grace Place Church and House of Neighborly Service are co-hosting the event as part of their shared commitment to meeting practical needs while fostering connection and dignity within the community.
Attendees are asked to RSVP by emailing [email protected], though walk-ins with donations will be welcomed as space allows.
