Join us to celebrate Hispanic/LatinX Heritage Month with author Matt de la Peña. He will talk about his books, the trans-formative nature of literature, and the power of education which leads to the acquisition of possibilities.
Matt de la Peña is the New York Times bestselling, Newbery Medal winning author of six young adult novels (including Mexican WhiteBoy, We Were Here and The Living) and four picture books (including Last Stop on Market Street and Love). Last Stop on Market Street is currently being adapted for the stage as a hip hop musical.
