9NEWS is inviting Northern Colorado residents to participate in two free, televised town halls in Greeley next week, with opportunities for audience members to submit questions.
Colorado Gubernatorial Town Hall
Tuesday, September 29
6:00–7:00 p.m.
Union Colony Civic Center, Greeley
According to 9NEWS, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Phil Weiser will take questions from audience members and moderator Kyle Clark during the televised town hall. 9NEWS says Republican candidate Victor Marx declined invitations to participate in a televised debate and town hall.
Colorado’s 8th Congressional District Town Hall
Thursday, October 1
6:00–7:00 p.m.
Campus Commons Performance Hall
University of Northern Colorado, Greeley
9NEWS says both candidates in the 8th Congressional District race, Rep. Gabe Evans and Manny Rutinel, declined invitations to participate in a televised debate and town hall.
Instead, the October 1 program will feature a moderated panel discussion with voters, advocates and industry leaders from the district discussing issues important to their communities. Audience questions will also be included.
Both events are free to attend, and attendees can indicate during registration if they are interested in asking a question.
