6th Annual Field Of Honor®
May 23–25, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Daily
Location: Spring Canyon Community Park
2626 W Horsetooth Road, Fort Collins, Colorado
Field of Honor is a breathtaking display of 500 American flags that fly in formation honoring our country’s heroes: active military, veterans, first responders, community leaders, teachers, and other personal heroes. Sponsored by Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary, this annual event provides our community an opportunity to reflect, remember, and be thankful for those who have made an important difference in our lives.
The event takes place over Memorial Day weekend, May 23–25, and is free to the public.
Honor. Remember. Reflect.
Field of Honor is not only a powerful tribute to our heroes, but also a meaningful community fundraiser. Support comes through pledges from local businesses via the Community Supporter program, as well as the purchase of commemorative Medallions available at the event.
Each Medallion can be customized with a tribute to a personal hero and attached to a designated flag, creating a lasting and visible expression of gratitude and remembrance.
Honor a Personal Hero
Commemorative Medallions are available at the event and can be personalized with a tribute to a hero in your life. Each medallion is attached to a flag, creating a visible and lasting expression of honor and remembrance.
A Special Year: America 250 | Colorado 150
This year’s Field of Honor is especially meaningful as it coincides with our Nation’s 250th anniversary and Colorado’s 150th anniversary.
To mark the occasion, the display will expand beyond the traditional 500 flags to include:
- The Declaration of Independence
- The 26 historic flags of the United States
Each historic flag will include a placard explaining when it was authorized and what its design represents, offering a unique educational opportunity that honors our Nation’s heritage.
Also new this year, the Field will feature flags representing all six branches of the United States military:
- Army
- Navy
- Marine Corps
- Air Force
- Coast Guard
- Space Force
Community Impact
Funds raised through Field of Honor stay right here in our community, supporting local nonprofit organizations. To date, more than $68,000 has been directed to organizations serving veterans and first responders, including:
