3rd Annual Fort Collins Rotary Duck Race

The 3rd Annual Fort Collins Rotary Duck Race returns on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Fort Collins City Park Pool Lazy River, bringing together the community for a day of family fun while raising money for local nonprofits, school organizations, youth sports teams, booster clubs, and other community groups.

Hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Fort Collins Foothills and Downtown, and presented by Fort Collins Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, the Duck Race gives participating organizations a simple and equitable way to raise funds. Community members adopt rubber ducks for $25 in support of a beneficiary organization, with 80% of every duck adoption going directly back to the selected group.

Throughout the day, thousands of rubber ducks race down the lazy river, with top finishers advancing to a championship race where adopters compete for cash prizes of $5,000, $3,000, and $1,000. The event also features food trucks, family activities, sponsor booths, and entertainment, making it a celebration for the entire community.

Duck adoptions are now open at FCRotaryDuckRace.org, and organizations interested in participating as beneficiaries have until July 12 to register. Whether a large nonprofit or a small volunteer-run school club or booster organization, the Duck Race offers an easy, community-driven way to raise meaningful funds one duck adoption at a time.
