20th Annual Houska Halloween Blood Drive

This year, Houska’ is hosting their 20th annual zombie-themed blood drive! Stop by the Garth Englund Blood Center, located at 1025 Pennock Place, on Friday, October 29 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to donate! Participants who donate will receive a Coopersmith’s Pub & Brewing gift card for a pint of ale. And anyone who donates blood will be entered into a contest for a chance to win a free set of four Goodyear tires! What could be better than that?!To be eligible to give blood, all donors must be at least 18 years old, or 17 with a parent’s permission, and show photo identification. New donors must weigh at least 120 pounds and be in good health. Prior donors must weigh at least 110 pounds.
Donating blood has been a longtime commitment for the Houska family and is just one of the many ways they give back to the community
